The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Wyoming Valley (UUCWV) seeks to serve our members, friends and the community, and to affirm the universal spirit of human dignity, by creating an environment that challenges, inspires, encourages and supports the quest for religious fulfillment. We are committed to the church as an institution, to social justice, to liberal religious education, to mutual caring and support, and to the value of diversity.
The UUCWV proudly affirms that it is open to all.

We seek to welcome bisexuals, gays, lesbians, and trans gender individuals. We take steps to reduce prejudice by increasing understanding and acceptance among people of different sexual orientations. |
"... committed to the church as an institution, to social justice, to liberal religious education, to mutual caring and support, and to the value of diversity." |
|
Membership in our congregation is bound by our common, open-ended quest for meaning in life and our shared effort to put our best values into practice in our daily affairs, rather than by a common creed.

If you care to join our community on this quest, you may sign the membership book at any time (provided you are age 16 or older). Supporting the congregation, financially and through service, is a responsibility of the membership. If, for whatever reason, you are unable, or do not wish to make a formal commitment to the congregation at this time, feel free to be a friend of the congregation by participating in our programs, and sharing your unique talents with the congregation |
